Karoo Farm Stay – Morning Glory Cottages – Guest Farm Accommodation

We personally manage Morning Glory Cottages, offering heartfelt service in a homely and relaxing atmosphere.

Our idyllic setting features beautiful gardens and a refreshing splash pool, perfect for peace, tranquillity, and soaking in glorious Karoo sunsets. You can enjoy field walks with stunning nature vistas, stargazing under clear skies, bird watching, or informal mountain biking along our farm tracks. For the adventurous, game self-drives on the adjacent Oviston Nature Reserve are available, and hunting can be arranged in season.

We provide braai facilities in our thatched lapa with a built-in braai in a shady garden, along with ample and safe parking. Our little visitors can feed our baby farm animals with a milk bottle—though occasionally we won’t have orphaned or poorly lambs, we hope you understand.

We’re family-friendly and love sharing our home-grown vegetables, herb garden, and a collection of succulent plants from the veldt with our guests.

  • We have a conference facility that accommodates up to 22 guests.
  • Our fully licensed bar, Schalkies Place, is ready to serve you.
